Solidarity Sundays: Standing Strong Together at the East Mountain Library
Community members gather near the East Mountain Library to protest authoritarianism and protect democracy.
Last Sunday, our community showed up loud and clear at the East Mountain Library for Solidarity Sundays – Indivisible. Neighbors gathered with powerful homemade signs, voices full of conviction, and a shared determination to protect democracy and stand against authoritarianism.
The energy was electric — people connected, shared stories, and reminded each other that we are not alone in this fight. From clever slogans to heartfelt messages, the signs said it all: our community is united, resilient, and ready to push back against threats to our freedoms.
📸 We captured so many inspiring moments — thank you to everyone who came out and stood strong.

These gatherings are more than just rallies — they’re a reminder that when we show up together, we send a message: the East Mountains are indivisible.
👉Join us next time! Bring your friends, bring your sign, and bring your voice. Democracy needs all of us, and your presence makes a difference.
Don’t have a sign? No problem! We have some extra signs for you to use if you’d like. Or better yet design your own at our next Signs of the Times workshop, which will be announced soon! Click here for tips on making legible signs:
